Properties Of PET Resins

PET resin boasts excellent transparency, toughness, and electrical insulation properties. It is resistant to water and certain chemicals but has limited heat resistance, typically up to 80°C for heat-resistant variants.

Despite its good gas barrier properties, it is somewhat permeable to gases, affecting the shelf-life of contained products. PET can be machined and bonded with specific adhesives, though machining may affect its clarity.
